Rawsons the florist are offering a five week workshop covering basic skills for flower arranging and floristry. In these sessions you will be shown how to create gifts and flower arrangements for different occasions.
The sessions will be provided by a highly qualified florist who has taught floristry for a number of years and will be held in a flower shop environment.
There are limited spaces available on this workshop and so early booking is advised. Acceptance is on a first come first serve basis.
A non refundable deposit of £25.00 is required when booking this workshop and then a further £10.00 is payable each week.

2 | Assembling a range of buttonholes |
3 | Arranging flowers in cellophane and creation of florists ribbon bow |
4 | Arrangement of fresh flowers in a small basket |
5 | Creation of a simple pretty hand tied for a gift |

Week 4: Saturday 7th May 2011
Week 5: Saturday 14th May 2011
Please note these dates could be rearranged due to unforeseen circumstances. However further dates would be provided to ensure that the five weeks are completed. These would be held on a Saturday.
Course time: 2:30pm to 4:00pm
· All materials are provided and there is an option to purchase additional sundries, if required, to take home.
· Due to health and safety we are unable to provide refreshments on this course. However you are able to bring these along with you.
· There is an option to attend further workshops should these be required.
Please note that this workshop does not provide any qualifications and is solely a leisure activity. We cannot guarantee any employment in the floristry industry after this is completed
